This was originally a large mansion house, known as “The Hill” bought by John Corbett, who converted it into a hospital in 1893 for the people of Stourbridge and its district. There were many extensions that followed. Unfortunately this lovely house has now gone, and the small footprint that remained was demolished in 2007 and is now replaced by houses.
