Holbeche House is a beautiful mansion from the Jacobean period, rich in history for the Gunpowder Plot. In 1605, Robert Catesby led his men to the house where they hid and brought a store of weapons and gunpowder which became wet from the rain and It was put in front of the fire to dry out. However a spark from the fire caused a huge explosion which attracted attention. The house was surrounded and Catesby died from his injuries, others were arrested and some fled around the country.

Available as a good quality digital print on 300gsm archival paper in sizes A3 (297 x 420 mm) and A4 (210 x 297 mm).

It is advised to frame the print under glass and out of direct sunlight to protect the quality of the print.
